- How to View VisualCat Collections

There are two ways to view collections in VisualCat —
with a web browser and with the Insight Java Client.
The web browser interface is easy to learn and use, and
requires no configuration or add-ons.
The Insight Java Client must be downloaded, configured, and periodically updated.
However, the Insight client has a richer set of tools for viewing and comparing
images.

You may also use the general documentation provided
online
by Luna Imaging, Inc. or select the help menu option after going to the
VisualCat image server to view a collection.
- Insight Java Client Help

If you have a VisualCat account provided by a collection curator, the
Research & Data Management Services staff will help you install and
use the Insight client software. Contact the staff at
<visualcat-info [at] udel[dot]edu>.
